Microsoft Security Patch Release June 2011 Advance Notification
Microsoft have released their Advance Notification for June's scheduled Security Bulletin update. Sixteen separate bulletins are lined up for release, nine Critical, and seven Important. All of the Critical, and one of the Important, bulletins address Remote Code Execution vulnerabilities, with the remaining Important bulletins addressing Elevation of Privilege, Information Disclosure, and Denial of Service type vulnerabilities.
This month's patches target the Windows, .NET, Silverlight, Forefront, Office, SQL Server, and Visual Studio product families. One of the Critical bulletins is an Internet Explorer cumulative update.
