Microsoft Security Patch Release January 2010 Advance Notification
Microsoft have released their Advance Notification for their January 2010 Security Bulletin release.
This month, they are planning to release a single Critical Windows patch. The Critical rating is only for Windows 2000 systems, for the other affected systems the rating is only Low. It has been confirmed by the Microsoft Security Response Center that the bulletin will not be addressing a known Denial of Service vulnerability affecting SMB.
